Compassionate Support - Lasting Change

Counselling for Young People

Colorful Pencil Tips

Starting counselling can feel like a big step, and I think it's important that young people have the opportunity to meet their counsellor and see if they feel comfortable with them.

I offer a free one-to-one first meeting for young people aged 12+. This gives them the chance to meet me, ask any questions, see the counselling space and decide if they would like to take things further.

I also offer a free telephone consultation for parents and carers. This gives you the opportunity to share your concerns, ask questions and discuss whether counselling may be helpful.

I work with young people experiencing a range of challenges, including anxiety, low confidence, friendship difficulties, big emotions, life changes and neurodiversity.

Every young person is different, and I want the counselling space to feel comfortable and welcoming. My aim is for them to feel listened to and able to be themselves, without feeling pressured to talk about anything before they're ready
